Today, I noticed these sunflowers, the way they catch the light and how they embrace the space on my table. I made a little watercolor, 7″ x 5″. Sometimes the most ordinary elements in my life say al lot to me about light, space and time. In fact, they change every day, and how i see them changes, too. I will keep track of them as they react to the light, space and time.

Beautiful, Beth!!! Thank you for sharing
Absolutely beautiful!
I love it….
funny how synchronized we can be in our thoughts- I was just writing in my plans for the school year about some of my classes working with the effects of time on themselves and their art work. silver point requires time and watercolor hates it. We have been trained by our culture to dread the effects of time and yet the worn sea shell or the dried flower or the fall landscape are all beautiful reminders of the profound effects of time passing.
